These terms cover your use of Trident Journal. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Trident Journal is a trading journal. It records and analyses trades you import or enter, and estimates account figures such as drawdown thresholds and payout eligibility from rules the prop firms publish.
No advice, no guarantees
The journal is for record keeping and education only. It is not financial advice and it doesn't recommend trades.
Figures such as drawdown left, loss limits, payout eligibility and forecasts are estimates. They can differ from your prop firm's own numbers, for example because firms change their rules or because the journal only sees closed trades. Your firm's platform and dashboard are always the source of truth. We're not responsible for losses, failed evaluations or denied payouts that come from relying on the journal's figures.
Your account
Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Don't use the service to break the law, interfere with it, or access other people's data.
Your data
You own the trades and notes you put in. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. See the privacy policy.
Payments
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, nothing here limits it.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms or the service and will post the updated terms here. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
